ADA Guidelines for Infection Control

The ADA Guidelines for Infection Control is the result of nearly 20 years of dedicated work by the Australian Dental Association’s Infection Control Committee, in consultation with stakeholders. It describes the standards of infection control that dental care providers and dental staff are expected to follow.

The standards provided are evidence-based or otherwise based on current international best practice: they have been drawn from current expert knowledge and advice in infection control.

The publication provides standards and guidelines about the primary responsibilities of dental care providers in relation to infection control, and the rationale for those obligations.

Copies are available for sale from ADA Inc.
