37th Australian Dental
Wednesday 17th - Sunday 21st May
The Australian Dental Congress, the largest CPD event of its kind in Australia, offers an exceptionally varied roster of learning opportunities for all delegates. From the main scientific programme and its allied programmes for the whole practice, which feature keynote speakers and an impressive number of local and international presenters, through to the smaller, always popular hands-on workshops and Lunch and Learn sessions, there is something for everyone.
A mix of presentation and practical application on a range of topics, the workshops are designed to give delegates a hands-on learning experience. Only available to Dentists.
Delegates have access to a range of programmes catering to dentists, dental prosthetists, practice managers, dental assistants and dental hygienists and therapists, and for the first time, whole of practice sessions.
A more intimate learning environment than the main programme, these sessions provide an opportunity to interact directly with a presenter and are always extremely popular. Only available to Dentists.
Commencing in 1959, the Student Clinician Research Program announces the winners of its Australian program at the Dentsply Sirona Dinner event following the finalists' presentations at Congress.
Many organisations officially affiliated with the ADA take advantage of their members being in attendance at Congress to convene AGMs, training sessions and social events.
This programme is designed for the partners of dental professionals accompanying Congress and features a lounge, social events and the opportunity to create your own Melbourne experience.
A key part of the Congress programme, the ADA/PFA National Emerging Young Lecturer Competition facilitates ADA Branch-nominated young clinicians to showcase their clinical, research and presentation skills.
