Find A Dentist

'Find a Dentist' is compiled and published by the Australian Dental Association Inc. (ADA) as a source of demographic and professional information on individual dentists in Australia. ADA Inc. provides this service to facilitate members of the public finding a dentist in a convenient location or required speciality. 

Who is in 'Find a Dentist'?

'Find a Dentist' is by no means an exhaustive database of dentists throughout Australia. All dentists who are members of the Australian Dental Association Inc. are provided with the opportunity to register themselves, however it should be noted that not all ADA Inc. members have elected to be registered on Find a Dentist.  

Why use 'Find a Dentist'?

Whilst not exhaustive, the 'Find a Dentist' register is a comprehensive database of Dentists Australia-wide, categorised by geographical location, name, registered speciality, and other variables useful in selecting a dentist of your choice.

Therefore, if you have specific dental requirements and are in need of a particular specialist, have relocated and are searching for a new dentist, or have specific requirements such as a bi-lingual dentist, the 'Find a Dentist' database is likely to yield a result convenient for you.  

How do members register on 'Find a Dentist'?

It is a requirement that Dentists who wish to be registered on 'Find a Dentist' are a financial member of the Australian Dental Association Inc. and have created an online member profile. This can be done by selecting 'click here to register' on the official ADA Inc. website. Once logged in, select the 'edit my profile tab' on the left hand side of the page, and fill in your personal and practice details. Included within this area is the option to click 'active in Find a Dentist search'. It is in this area that all practice details and specialities are filled in, and once selected will be automatically published in the 'Find a Dentist' register.
