The "ADA Member Directory" is compiled and published by the Australian Dental Association Inc. (ADA) as a source of demographic and professional information on individual dentists in Australia. While the ADA represents around 94% of private sector dentists, not all members of the ADA have elected to be listed within the directory, and the current listing should in no way be read as a recommended list. More comprehensive lists may be available in phone directories, although these will not usually provide information regarding types of practice, practice hours, languages spoken in the practice and other details.
The information contained in the directory has been supplied by members and has not been independently verified by the ADA.
Use of the ADA Member Directory is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Use for the ADA Homepage, and also to the following:
The Directory may be used by the general public to allow quick access to information about those ADA member dentists who are listed. However, neither the Directory nor the ADA Office is a referral service.
The use of the Directory by third parties to verify information about, or the credentials of, dentists - including but not limited to health care entities, hospitals, insurance companies, and/or health fund organisations - is not sufficient to meet the standards of any regulatory agency, licensing agency or credentialing body, such as the individual state Dental Practice Boards or the Australian Dental Council (ADC) or others. The Directory does not contain sufficient information with which to verify dentist credentials. For further information about verifying dentist credentials, contact the individual state Dental Practice Boards by phone or email.
The Directory and/or any of its data, listings or other constituent elements may not be downloaded, republished, resold or duplicated, in whole or in part, for commercial or any other purposes, or for purposes of compiling mailing lists or any other lists of dentists. The use of the Directory to establish independent data files or compendiums of statistical information is prohibited.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Liabilities
Although the ADA undertakes reasonable efforts to keep the information contained in the Directory accurate, the information is not guaranteed and no responsibility is assumed for errors or omissions. The ADA does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the information contained in the Directory; nor does the ADA in any way endorse the individuals described in the Directory or the services they may provide.
The ADA is unable to verify whether a dentist described in the Directory as a "specialist" limits his or her practice to that specialty.
In no event shall the ADA be liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on such information.
The above warranties are the only warranties of any kind either expressed or implied including warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
Note to ADA Member Dentists: To create, modify or remove your listing in the online 'Find a Dentist' Directory, you must become a Web Site Member. You can do this from the link on the home page under the login area called, Join Here. From the Members Extranet, click on 'Edit My Profile'. Unless you create your profile, your name will not appear in the online 'Find a Dentist' Directory.
