Advocacy and Representation
The Association is well respected withing Government, Government Departments, Educational Insitutions and other external bodies. It advocates strongly on behalf of the profession whether it be through the media or in person. The Association frequently helps defend the profession from what it considers unfair or ill-advised legislation or publicity and accepts any chanllenge to progress ideas which will be of benefit to the profession and the public.
Complaints Management
The Association operates a comprehensive and very effective complaints management service utilising a team of Community Relations Officers who support members with mediation, conciliation services with complaints, advice and assitance, including legal.
Infection Control Program
The Association operates a membership service on infection control to assist in the maintenance of infection control standards in your practice. Given that accreditation of safety and quality standards will be mandatory in the future; this service places the ADASA in a good position to help members prepare for this eventuality.
Professional Insurance 
In today's litigious society, liability insurance forms an essential part of your professional protection.
Without adequate insurance cover your personal assets and business are exposed to potentially damaging claims or the cost of defending expensive claims made against you.

Member Assistance Program 
The Member Assistance Program (MAP) is available to all ADASA members. It is a free service offered by the ADASA in line with the Association's commitment to provide a supportive practice environment.
Through the service you can access professional advice to help cope with life's difficult issues. You can choose between face-to-face counselling during work hours. Alternatively you can access phone counselling 24 hours a day.
The MAP can proved help with a wide range of issues including:
Rleationship issues, alcohol & drug issues, concerns about children, anxiety & depression, grief and loss, low self esteem, managing conflict and handling work pressures.
Advertising
- Selling your practice, seeking staff? Advertise in the ADASA monthly newsletter 'Dental Insights' and/or access teh Federal website where members can log on and place their advertisments.
