Dental Health Week 2008

DHW07 Pink.jpg

Research tells us that dental decay in children has risen in recent years, compared with the decay rates of the 1990's. Additionally, a significant proportion of people don't regularly visit their dentist for a check-up.

The Australian Dental Association believes educating parents, teachers and children is one of the ways we can try to reverse this trend. Please download the pages provided in this section of the site and use this knowledge to improve children's oral health.

During Dental Health Week, parents and teachers can improve their knowledge of oral health issues so that they can then educate their children and students.
