The Australian Newspaper Opinion Piece - 16 January 2010

Tuesday, January 19, 2010
As part of the ADA’s education campaign as to how the ADA believes the Commonwealth Government should improve the delivery of dental care to the community, the following article at was published in The Australian on Saturday.

The Opinion piece prepared by Dr Neil Hewson was published due to the public’s interest as to how delivery of dental health can be improved.

The piece published advocates that federal funding for dental care delivery be provided by the government and be directed to the financially disadvantaged-rather than be directed universally (to all Australians) as advocated in the National Health and Hospital Reform Commission’s Denticare plan.

You are encouraged to  review the ADA’s solution by accessing the ADA’s DentalAccess plan on this site.
