Early Adopters Dental Practice Accreditation Scheme
Thursday, September 02, 2010

The ADA in conjunction with QIP invites expressions of interest in participating in the Early Adopters Accreditation Scheme.
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (the Commission) has forecast that accreditation for all high risk health services, including dentistry, may be mandatory against the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Services (NSQHS) Standards.

For those members wishing to participate, contact:
Matthew Connor at ADA on 02 8815 3331 or 1800232462, or email eas@ada.org.au by Thursday 7 October 2010.
The advantage of participating in the Early Adopters Dental Practice Accreditation Scheme is that practices will gain first hand knowledge of the accreditation process, whilst being supported throughout the process by ADA Inc. and QIP consultants. Participants will not be required to undergo an on-site practice survey visit.
Successful participants will be granted accreditation for one year, and have an additional 12 months to transition to Stage II of the accreditation scheme.
