Dentistry and Oral Health Scholarship Applications Now Open

Applications have opened for the 2011 Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support (NAHSSS) Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship formerly known as Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship (RAHUS) scheme.

The Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS): Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship is available to students enrolled in or intending to enrol in, an accredited/approved undergraduate or graduate entry allied health course.

To apply applicants must: 

1) Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia;

2) Be enrolled, or intending to enrol as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited/approved

3) Australian undergraduate or entry level allied health course; and

4) Not be in receipt of another scholarship or bursary funded by the Department of Health and Aging

Applicants will be assessed against the following eligibility criteria:

  • Remoteness (having spent the preceding 5-8 years in a rural or remote area classified by ASGC-RA 2-5)
  • Financial need
