THERAPEUTIC GUIDELINES: ORAL AND DENTAL

Thursday, July 05, 2007
Reports received have indicated that the publication “Therapeutic Guidelines: Oral and Dental” 2007 Version 1 has been very well received.

While the ADA provided this text as free service to members, reports to hand indicate that nearly 2,000 sales of the book have been made to non-dental health practitioners. Pharmacists, for instance, have been responsible for 32% of the purchases with general medical practitioners responsible for 28%.

According to the publishers, the new title has proved popular as it provides current evidence of oral and dental problems and discusses the overall care of patients with these problems.

Many members of the ADA have congratulated the authors of the book, made up primarily of members of the ADA Therapeutics and Drugs Committee, on the quality of the publication.
