As a parent you will naturally be concerned about your child's health. During Dental Awareness Month, we are asking parents to improve their knowledge of oral health issues in order that they can educate their children.
Research tells us that dental decay in children has risen in recent years, compared with the decay rates of the 1990's. Additionally, a significant proportion of people don't regularly visit their dentist for a check-up.
The Australian Dental Association believes educating parents and children is one of the ways we can try to reverse this trend. Please read the pages provided in this section of the site and use this knowledge to improve your child's oral health.
