Dental Insights Photographic Competition - Lets Bring Art and Science Together!
Compete to showcase your photographic skills for the front cover of our Dental Insights Winter edition 2024!
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Dental Photographic Competition, an exciting opportunity for our talented Members to showcase their skills, creativity, and passion for dentistry through the lens of a camera.
The photographs could be, but not limited to:
- Dental instruments, equipment, etc
- Close-up shots
- Cutting-edge technology, equipment, or dental materials
Let your ‘creativity’ shine by presenting artistic and photographs that link to Dentistry.
We are not looking for patient or group style photographs.
Prize
The winning photograph will be showcased on the front cover of the printed 2024 Winter edition of Dental Insights. They will also receive a gift from our wonderful sponsor at Soul Growers Wines.
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: Friday, 29 March 2024 at 11.59pm
Winner Announced: Friday, 12 April 2024 via phone call and email
Submission Guidelines
- Participants can submit a maximum of three photographs and must provide a brief description of each entry.
- Photographs must be 300 dpi high-resolution and in JPEG or equivalent image format.
- Entries must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "DI Front Cover Competition - Entry", with email, mobile and Member name.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the dental industry
- Suitability for Dental Insights front cover
- Creativity and originality
- Technical skill and quality
- Overall impact and storytelling
Who Can Participate?
This competition is open to all ADA SA Members and their Teams, and ADA SA Student Members.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or a dental enthusiast with a passion for photography, we encourage you to take part!
By Submitting your photographs into this competition, you warrant that:
You are the author of the photograph, and it is your own work. By submitting the photograph for entry, you are providing ADA SA Branch with an unrestricted license to utilize your entry for the purposes of promoting this competition, or for use on the DI Cover.
If people are depicted in the photograph, they must have granted permission to be portrayed as shown and that the photograph will be used by ADA SA in future marketing material. The author must be able to provide evidence of this permission if ADA SA requests.
The photographs abide by Infection Control standards, if applicable.
