Specialist Prosthodontic Training

To become a registered prosthodontist in Australia or New Zealand, a dentist with at least two years clinical experience must complete a recognised, post-graduate degree specializing in prosthodontics. These programs take a minimum of three years, full-time study to complete and provide the post-graduate student with extensive training in all facets of prosthodontic endeavour.

This level of training provides the prosthodontist with the skills necessary to undertake complex oral rehabilitations and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans involving other dental specialties.
