Promoting endodontic education among the Asian Pacific countries has been an evolving objective of our Confederation. Through combined efforts with local endodontic societies or associations, the APEC holds conjoint scientific meetings or courses in many countries of the region. These lectures are often attended not only by specialist endodontists but also by general dental practitioners. Hopefully, this would translate into a rising standard of endodontic care rendered to the general public in our member countries.

Dental Health Week is a community awareness program coordinated and funded by the ADA. In 2009 the ADA is leading a campaign to target 55 year olds and over and has developed a range of Fact Sheets on oral health care. August 3rd - 9th is Dental Health Week.
