Are you ready to volunteer? The ADA has compiled a range of resources that will get you ready for the volunteering opportunities ahead. These resources, which address the idea of volunteering generally as well as providing practical advice on your next steps, will assist you in making effective use of your skills and expertise.  

  • ADA Policy on Dental Volunteers

    The ADA believes that dentists, allied dental personnel and others should support dental volunteer programmes with the end goal of empowering local communities to provide their own ongoing care. 

  • Choosing a Volunteer Organisation

    While not exhaustive, this document lists a number of important questions you can ask a volunteer organisation prior to embarking on a project.

  • FDI Policy Statement

    The FDI World Dental Federation suggests that all volunteers in oral health follow the basic guidelines outlined in this document.

    The ADAF works with its dedicated supporters and volunteers to assist disadvantaged Australians through its research, education and dental aid projects.

  • Volunteering Australia

    Founded in 1997, Volunteering Australia is the national peak body for volunteering, working to advance volunteering in the community.
