37th Australian Dental

Wednesday 17th - Sunday 21st May

ADA/PFA Awards

Established in 1936 by American dentist Dr. Elmer S. Best and named after the acknowledged father of modern dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) has been dedicated from the start to advancing the boundaries of dental science and to encouraging the pursuit of the highest professional standards for the dental profession.

These awards, sponsored by the ADA and PFA, help facilitate ADA Branch nominated young clinicians to showcase their clinical, research and presentation skills before delegates, providing insight into the latest work being undertaken in dental schools across Australia. Each presentation is 15 minutes with a Q&A section, and is judged by a panel of four judges comprised of representatives of both sponsoring organisations.

Two awards are presented - the National Emerging Young Lecturer which comes with sponsorship from the PFA of $5000 and an Encouragement award of $1000.

Come along on Friday morning and enjoy this chance to hear from the rising stars of Australian dentistry.
