Grants for Rural and Remote Dental Students

Seven grants, worth $5000 each, are available each year for rural and remote students from Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. The Panel aims to award grants equally to students from each state and territory.

Eligible applicants must be:
•  Either Australian citizens or permanent resident in a rural or remote region; and
enrolled as full-time students in an undergraduate or graduate entry dental degree immediately leading to registration as a dentist, and must have completed at least the first year of that degree.
•  Please note that grants are not open to those students who are enrolled in degree courses to qualify as a dental hygienist, dental therapist, oral health therapist, and/or dental prosthetists.

Successful applicants will be selected by a panel appointed by ADA.

Applications open 20th January 2018 and will close on 31st March 2018.
