FDI World Dental Federation Keeps Oral Health High On The Global Agenda

Convening every year in May, the World Health Assembly (WHA), regarded as the globe's foremost forum on health policy, brings together a range of bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO)’s 194 Member States, United Nations agencies, international organisations, as well as non-State actors in official relations with WHO.

Among those "non-State actors" are the FDI World Dental Federation and the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR) whose use strategic collaboration to advance the cause of oral health advocacy on a global scale.

This year's meeting will take place from 19-27 May in Geneva Switzerland, working under the theme of "One World for Health" and FDI will be working with IADR to elevate oral health as a key discussion item.
